The Oxychlor generator produces chlorine dioxide by combining sodium chlorite solution with chlorine gas in the dilution water, which creates the vacuum required to feed those chemicals.  This design incorporates fail-safe features, because the loss of dilution water flow stops chemical feeds and generation.
